Who Can Become a Member?
✓A person who lives in Minnesota and is age 18 or older.
✓Anyone who is an Orthodox Tewahedo Christian.
✓Anyone who accepts the bylaws and regulations of St. Mary Edir.

Important Registration Fee Rule
The bylaws state that new-member registration fees increase based on the number of months after the formation of the Edir: the applicable monthly fee multiplied by the number of months, plus the welcome fee. The bylaws also establish a 15-year cap of $3,800 for singles and $5,700 for families.
Member Responsibilities
- • Follow the St. Mary Edir bylaws.
- • Complete required membership and related forms correctly.
- • Pay required fees, dues, and approved contributions on time.
- • Attend general meetings.
- • Support cooperation among members.
- • Participate in mourning, burial, or farewell services when required by the bylaws.
- • Notify the Edir of relevant membership-status or contact-information changes.
